Kevin C. Swailes, CEO & Chairman
Kevin Swailes founded the background check and employment screening division over 25 years ago, in response to corporate clients’ need for fast, credible background checks coupled with high-touch customer service. Notably, Compaq Computer, then the youngest company to ever hit the Fortune 500, was among these foundational clients.
As a U.S. Navy veteran and former Executive with General Electric, Kevin brings a wealth of experience in corporate HR, Legal, and Security functions. He has actively engaged in significant changes to key FCRA legislation in the United States Congress, benefiting employers nationwide.
Currently, Kevin serves as the Chairman of Swailes Background Check’s parent company, Swailes & Company, Inc., a family-owned enterprise headquartered in Houston, Texas.
